Activities at Silver Oak National Park
Imagine taking a deep breath standing on the peak of a mountain, with that feeling of accomplishment after hiking a 3-hour trail, looking over the beautiful view of acres of nature. Or try one of our shorter trails for a faster getaway to refresh your mind and spirit.
Feel free to bring your own kayak or rent one from the park. Either way, enjoy a beautiful day on the lake surrounded by nature. (We suggest that before kayaking, you check weather situations and get some instruction to ensure your safety.)
Whether you want to have a day to yourself or bring the family, you are welcome at the ponds and lakes located on park grounds. Our park offers opportunities to catch a wide range of game fish. We ask our anglers to follow fishing rules and guidelines, and ask that everyone is respectful of the land and lakes.
